Investigation of influence of riveted joints on deformation and stress behavior of an attachment assembly from Aluminum Alloy.
The study includes:
Complete part design and the creation of comprehensive documentation for the manufacturing and assembly of the final product.
Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations performed using SolidWorks Simulation, employing three different FEM approaches to analyze rivet behavior and structural deformation.
Analytical calculations based on classical Strength of Materials methods.
Static testing of the assembly using a custom-designed test jig. Additionally, specialized jig jaws were fabricated to ensure accurate boundary conditions.
Final test report featuring detailed analysis and high-resolution photographs.
